Life Skills Prep Camp Partners
Award winning Broadway veteran actress, Ann Morrison is joining Life Skills Prep Camp this year, bringing her expertise in theatre training.
Ann is currently a Co-Founder/Artistic Director: Kaleidoscope Theater; musical theater for persons with developmental differences through Asolo Rep Theater, and Co-Founder/Artistic Director: SaraSolo Productions; celebrating solo performances and new small cast plays that illuminate the human condition especially that of those who are perceived as "other than."
Rick Levine - with Feel Free Connection, will be teaching creative movement, hip hop and urban technique dance. Rick has worked in the Sarasota Community for over 10 years, working with children in many domain areas. He has worked with Sarasota Contemporary Dance and many other organizations to enrich the lives of children and young adults through understanding how to move their bodies to express themselves.
Jacob DeWitti with AllStar Music Academy will be teaching keyboarding and percussion. Jacob has been taking piano lessons since he was 5 years old and drum lessons since he was in 5th grade. When he started at Manatee High School he was recruited to the jazz band and became the drum line Captain. Even while maintaining a 4.3 GPA he also worked as a pianist at Vision of Light Ministries.
Melissa Martin – Instructor
Melissa is part of the Stage Door Studios family! We are excited to have her as one of our partners teaching exercise, movement, flex and balance at our Life Skills Prep Camp Summer Camp. Melissa has also performed with countless dance and performing arts companies across the states, and is excited to be able to share her passion with so many children. She holds a BF in Elementary Education and a Minor in Dance from MTSU.
